Smile Transitions™  is a lower cost, esthetic option for some patients who are not quite ready or able to move forward with restorative treatment.  This appliance can dramatically improve esthetics and increase your desire to transition to a more definitive treatment in the future. Smile Transitions™ is not a permanent solution, but can provide some cosmetic improvements if you are not ready to move ahead with recommended veneers, crowns, orthodontics or implants. Smile Transitions™  fits over your existing teeth and offers instant esthetic improvement to your smile.

This flexible, natural-looking appliance does not require any cementation or adhesive to hold in place, as it fits over the natural undercuts of existing teeth.  Smile Transitions™ is removable and not recommended for eating or chewing. It is recommended for patients with crooked, stained, worn, broken or missing teeth. It may also be used as an esthetic transitional implant healing appliance and can, in some cases, be worn instead of a flipper (interim partial denture).
